About PLP
Family values, built in since 1982.
A family-run Heywood contractor with a broad track record in refurbishment and new build across the North West.
Who we are
Honesty, openness and a lot of repeat business.
PLP Construction Limited was established in 1982 by Philip Bradley. Four decades on, his son Laurie Bradley and daughter Joanne James run the business alongside him, and they're committed to strengthening it for the next generation.
We work for local authorities, housing associations, schools and private clients throughout the North West, delivering both refurbishment and new build. Through our sister company PLP Bespoke we also build individual luxury homes.
We're a lean, efficient business with hands-on senior management, which gives clients a personal service. Most of our projects are delivered by our own directly employed local team. We empower them to get it right first time, which significantly reduces defects, waste and duplication.
What we stand for
How we treat people
Open communication
One chain of communication from start to finish, with quick answers to every request for information.
Team working
We work as an integrated team with clients and a long-standing local supply chain.
Right people, right skills, right role
A lean business with hands-on senior management on every job.
Community involvement
Sponsorship, school visits, careers talks and charity work wherever we build.
An integrated team spirit
Our supply chain is local too, and most of it has worked with us for many years. Working with the same people builds an integrated team spirit: everyone constructively challenges each other's products and services, and the client benefits.
We treat everyone the way we'd like to be treated ourselves. That's why most of our employees have been with us for more than five years.
