The project

This refurbishment project has involved the extensive refurbishment of 44 fire damaged apartments, including structural re-build, new wall, ceiling and floor finishes, a full refurbishment of the communal areas, a complete electrical and mechanical re-fit, new timber frame, new roof structure, new bathrooms and kitchens.

The Assessor commented, “There remains an impression of a well-managed site which has sustained very good levels of CCS related practice across all of the Code of Considerate Practice.  The site team remain attentive to the character of the surrounding residential communities & the Company’s patronage of Wigan Youth Zone will undoubtedly contribute to a lasting local legacy. “
